At Christianity Out Loud, we do not desire to have the loudest voices, we just ask that our voices are heard. This is a community where Christians and people exploring faith can examine current cultural, political, social, and economic trends through the lens of the Christian worldview. The more that certain ideological agendas seek to drive change and gain power and influence, the more that Christianity needs to be a voice in the public sphere and a place where the voices of its followers will not be shunned.
Rules are simple:
- Understand that there may be differing opinions, and to treat those who differ from you with respect. After all, we are all made in the image of God and have intrinsic value. It should not be controversial to say that all lives matter.
- If you have a question, please ensure it is a question seeking a genuine answer.
- If you’re providing an answer, please ensure it is a genuine answer that not only addresses the question (macro) but the questioner as well (micro).
- While Jesus himself said that the gospel message would be offensive, that does not mean we are meant to be offensive. Endeavour to remain civil in conversations, and to not engage in dialogue that a reasonable person would consider inappropriate.
- While biblical discussions are welcomed and encouraged, this community exists primarily to allow current social, political, economic, and cultural trends to be considered from the Christian worldview perspective.
Community Guidelines
Please respect the following community guidelines to maintain an enjoyable environment:
- Keep conversation respectful, without personal attacks
- Don’t blow up other members’ feeds. If someone isn’t responding to you, let it be
- No pornography
- Keep out behavior that could be seen as trolling/spamming
- Relax, be yourself, and enjoy
